Aoibheann & Cameron

Aoibheann and Cameron’s wedding at Ghan House in Carlingford was such a joy to capture. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, this charming Georgian house is one of those venues that feels like it’s part of the landscape. Cozy, romantic, and full of character. It was the perfect setting for their intimate celebration, surrounded by close family and friends.

I joined Aoibheann and her bridal party in the morning as they got ready. A lovely, relaxed atmosphere filled with laughter and excitement. The rooms at Ghan House are full of natural light and timeless details, which made for some beautiful preparation shots before the ceremony began.

Although the Irish weather brought a few rain showers throughout the day, it didn’t dampen the mood one bit. We made the most of every break in the clouds for some stunning outdoor portraits, and when the rain came back, we took advantage of the beautiful interiors for cozy, romantic indoor photos. Sometimes, those little weather challenges bring out the best moments.

The day flowed effortlessly from the heartfelt ceremony to the emotional speeches, with plenty of smiles and tears in between. Aoibheann and Cameron were so natural and easy together, it made photographing their connection an absolute pleasure to capture.

Ghan House truly shines for small, intimate weddings, and this day was a perfect example of how special that kind of celebration can be.
