Charlene & Jimmy

Charlene and Jimmy’s wedding at Leighinmohr House Hotel in Ballymena was a truly beautiful summer celebration. It was full of sunshine, laughter, and so much joy from start to finish.

Set in the heart of Ballymena, Leighinmohr House is a modern yet elegant venue, surrounded by peaceful gardens and the gentle flow of the river, which made it the perfect spot for their June wedding.

I started the day capturing both bridal and groom prep right there at the hotel, which made the morning so relaxed and easy for everyone. There was such a lovely atmosphere as Charlene and her bridesmaids got ready. There was plenty of excitement in the air while Jimmy and his groomsmen shared a few laughs in another part of the hotel.

Their ceremony took place in Leighinmohr’s stunning new ceremony room, which was an absolute dream to photograph. The space is bright and elegant, with a glass roof and a striking chandelier that filled the room with natural light. It was the perfect backdrop for their vows.

After the ceremony, we made our way down to the gardens by the river for couple portraits and family photos. The sun was shining, and it was one of those rare Irish days where it actually felt like summer! The light was golden, the flowers in full bloom, and the two of them couldn’t stop smiling. It really was picture

perfect.

I was joined on the day by one of my second shooters, Lucie, who was such a great help throughout. Together we were able to capture every little detail and emotion from different perspectives, which added so much depth to their story.

From start to finish, Charlene and Jimmy’s wedding was full of warmth, love, and genuine happiness. It was such a pleasure to be part of their day and to document all those beautiful moments at Leighinmohr House.
